I have an early memory from an Artstudio 1943

I got a diploma from a drawing competition at school 1949

Listening to Carlo Derkert at the MM of Art in Stockholm opened the door

I mostly paint figures, people I have seen and recall in memory

To paint is a dialogue, working with the relation to life itself

I have earlier shown my pictures at several occasions

I prepare painting carefully by sketching, then I work fast without thinking

I live close to my pictures, think and talk, until they live their own life

Finally...I paint for myself, searching the expression, the dialogue with life...
